love is unconditional

love has conditions

to love someone else is to what to be loved as well

love has many shapes and appearances 

but love is not unconditional

the conditions of your love can be unknown to your conscious self

but nonetheless you have conditions for your love to be rendered

so why do we say love is unconditional

why do we believe in the impossible concept of no conditions

love takes shape with trust, honesty, respect, friendship, kinship, 

so is love a thing a tangible thing 

that can be held and locked away 

or is love a something other than a SOME THING

is love a spirit grabbing feeling that engulfs your everything

changes your reds to orange, your bads to goods

accepts your everything, doesnt hold judgements

is that really love or the utopian ideals of those who wish for nothing of everything

love is a voluntary act 

you choose love, you choose to receive love, you choose to be in love or out of love

its a choice that has conditions based in the real world of where you see and want yourself to be

so lets do away with the myth of love having no conditions 

and lets accept that love is a choice to act or react as you choose 

love is a definable feeling that we choose

and in that choosing we accept both the good and the bad

because LOVE isnt perfect

but it is perfected in the growth of the individuals 

walking in LOVES perfume

i continue to feel the affects of love

and will chase love 3000 miles or 100,000 miles

this is my choice 

and i dont regret it

i accept what love has offered and what love has wrought

this is a warriors journey 

a test of faith in the hearts wants and the souls wishes

i hope LOVE reads this 

and feels the honesty in what i write 

i will let go for now to move to the next step

but i will never let go of LOVE completely

cause LOVE is why we exist
