give me another word for

give me
give me another
give me another word
give me another word for-
give me another word
for

the promise of opportunity hangs low and large
dark clouds sitting heavy on the horizon of sleep
like pillows come to suffocate me with possibility

eyeballs wide, i see myself from behind in a puff pastry painting
of delirious terror
will this explode into a chase scene?
or just obliterate with some low horns

give me another-
paws.

give me another word-
pause.

give me another word for-

segue,

lying in bed
wearing nothing but red
some blue underneath
and bitterness in my mouth,

only
only in
only in mothballs could i tell you

now that we are all cold enough
now that we are all old enough
now that we are somber and out of the light
now that we are enough to write them,
we all get better at cryptology

give me,
give me another-

there is nothing i want to do in the face of today.
so i put on a new face

give me another eyeball for

and wear darkness
and sample brevity
but abandon it.
